Initial Consultation

To make sure that there are no contraindications to the procedure, during the initial consultation with the surgeon, you must carry out a:

  • Clinical Examination: To identify breast morphology, skin quality…

  • Radiological Examination

  • Blood Test

Preoperative Phase

A breast augmentation procedure is carried out under general anaesthesia. To avoid any risks during surgery, the surgeon will indicate some instructions:
  • Stop smoking for at least two months: one before and one after surgery

  • Take no aspirin during the 10 days preceding the surgery

  • Disinfect the skin using an antiseptic solution or soap the night and morning before surgery.

Postoperative Phase

Following the procedure, you need to be as cautious as you can and stick to your surgeon’s safeguards:

  • For 48 hours: No shower or wet the bandage

  • For a week: No driving

  • For a month, avoid physical activities, lifting heavy objects, and any physical contact with your breasts

  • For Two Months: Wear a supportive wireless bra 24 hours a day, avoid baths, swimming pools, and the exposure of scars to sunlight

Following the intervention, you can resume work within a few days and most of your activities within two months.
